Path to Pelantas Game Review

By Damian Seeto

Path to Pelantas is a very unique game that reminds me a lot of sports-management games. Although it’s an RPG themed video game, you don’t really get to go out and experience all the action yourself as everything in this game is simulated.

This is because you’re in charge of managing 11 heroes. They’re like your team and it’s up to you to make sure they stay fit and healthy. Unlike many RPG games, this game does not require you to play the game for hours on end. It’s quite possible that you can achieve a lot out of this game by just playing it for a few minutes each day.

Managing your heroes can be very easy as they are quite capable of handling situations for themselves. You can go onto the map and highlight where you want your heroes to go to hunt and kill monsters. Since this is a management-style video game, you don’t get the opportunity to kill monsters yourself per se, but you can check on the progress of your hunts. There are four areas that you can hunt and they include the forest, mountains, plains and swamp. It’s advisable that you check often as you might be surprised about what you will find.

Although most players will stick playing with the same team of heroes, there is a timeline to this game and they will all retire. Thankfully, this game knows this and you have the option of recruiting new heroes at any time. You can even sell your current heroes if you feel they are lacking in toughness. Again this is a reference to sports-management titles as managers swap teammates all the time as well. This is a unique feature unlike as in most RPG titles; you’re stuck with the same party members throughout the entire game.

Combat is perhaps the weakest aspect of Path to Pelantas. I’m the type of player that likes to control what I’m doing when it comes to fights. Even though you can choose to “view” battles you don’t really get to see any of the characters physically fight. All you get to see is their profile pictures and their stats. After a battle has concluded, you’re only left with a stats sheet showing how you did. I know this is a management-type of game but it would have hurt if some kind of visual aid was included.

The game itself is in real-time. Events are usually pre-determined on certain days so battle usually occur on Saturdays and quests are usually concluded on the following Monday. It pays to play the game almost daily to see what type of events is happening and to also see the progress of your characters.

One of the most interesting aspects of Path to Pelantas is its non-linear structure. Although there are battles that can be fought and quests to be done, you don’t have to play them if you choose not to. You have the option to play the game the way you want. If you want to specialize in only hunting monsters, then you can. Although playing all aspects of the game is advisable if you want to seek hours of gameplay.

Path to Pelantas is a highly unorthodox game. I haven’t played a non- sports management game before. Again, it may not be a game for everyone’s taste but the fact that it is free to play means anybody can sign up and give this game a try. Whether or not they are fans of RPGs, Path to Pelantas isn’t a time-consuming game and anybody should find something they will like in this game.

If you’re want to play RPG games then Bestonlinerpggames.com is is for you.

Maple Story Power Leveling – Ultimate Tips To Gain The Highest Power Level Fast

By Frank Lam Sheung

It’s really challenging to level up to 200 and beyond in maple story. In fact, some say that it is a “steep power leveling curve”. Meaning, at first you are leveling up fast in the game then all of a sudden, you find yourself stuck at one power level – grinding for a week or more without moving up to the next. That sort of scenario can be really frustrating.

Now to help you pass that challenging power level, here are some tips as well as options for you to explore as you play the maple story game. This can help you level up fast giving you a getter gaming experience.

Maple Story Power Level – Some Available Options For Power Leveling

One of the easiest things to do is to collect a lot of potions – why? Because potions can really help you recover when your hit points (hp) or your magic points (mp) run low, so collect as many as you can.

It is also helpful to buy a 4 hour 2x experience (xp) card, you should try to use this card more often instead of fighting. By using this card, you can provide your character with more hit points (hp), magic points (mp), or experiences (xp) which will then allow you to level up a lot quicker than you would have without it.

Another option would be to use the Orbis exchange quest. This is suitable for characters with a 10-30 maple story power level. One thing about the Orbis exchange quest is it’s not available for purchase in the free market, but once you have this, this can be a very fast way for you to level up to the mid 20s.

You can also consider buying a leech. Leeching is when you pay someone to perform the job for you. All you do is sit back and gain some experience (xp). Of course, this option uses mesos so you’ll need to weigh up whether it is worthwhile or not. Leeching is usually for level 75 and beyond.

Maple Story Power Level – Some Tips To Level Up Fast

Here are some tips that can help you to level up fast in maple story.

In the first ten levels, you need to kill as many mushrooms as possible. Killing mushrooms gains you experience (xp), that you can use later on in the game.

Take note that if you have low hit points (hp) and you die, you may lose a part of your experience (xp) and you don’t want that to happen, so you should stay in a safe and secure spot to let your character rest and recover when your hit points (hp) become low.

Accuracy in hitting enemies is a great help to become successful in any fight. If you are a bowman, a thief, or a warrior, you need to improve your dexterity (dex) as this will make your attacks more accurate. On the other hand, if you are a magician, you need to improve your intelligence (int) and luck (luk). In that way, you can finish the quests in time which in turn helps you to level up fast.

If you’re in the ten to thirty levels, you need to have 40-45 dexterity (dex). Having that dexterity can help you to past the quests easily so you can go to the next level right away.
